OCTOBER Highlights
PANTHER PINK OUT - Giving Back
On Wednesday, 10/15 we held our first 25¢ snack day of the year hosted by KM & KS. The snack sale raised $83. We also sold pink stress footballs for $1, raising an additional $168. A total of $251 will be donated to Fighting Pretty, an organization founded by a local that works with hospitals, cancer clinics and support groups to provide "Strength and Beauty Kits" that include mini boxing gloves, paraben-free lip products and inspirational information and resources to women in active cancer treatment.
Jump Rope for Heart
All students participated in Jump Rope for Heart on a beautiful October day. They rotated through various exercises and activities during their grade’s designated time. Thank you to all parent volunteers who came out to support and help at the event. The students enjoyed water and pretzels given by the HSA to conclude the event. Jump Rope for Heart was a great success.
CRYSTAL GALA - All that Sparkles
We kicked off our Soiree pre-sale on October 3rd. We have a little over 150 attendees already registered! Ticket sales are ongoing. Event is to be held at the Legacy Castle on 3/19/26 at 7pm. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps support our 60K annual operating budget for things like 5th grade Recognition, Yearbook and PV Park Day, Recess Equipment that is replaced multiple times per year, Field Day entertainment and lunch, supplements field trips, student assemblies, scholarships for PTHS Seniors that graduated from Hillview, Bookwormy and so much more. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the soiree, whether it be dancing, winning prizes during the tricky tray portion, enjoying delicious food or catching up with friends and the best part is, doing that directly benefits the students and staff of Hillview. Hillview is having its 2nd Annual Bake Sale at the Holiday Craft Fair on 12/6.
The 5th Grade Peer Leaders are looking for baked goods donations to sell at our table (Cookies, Crumb Cakes, Brownies, the possibilities are endless)

We are excited for our 4th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Pick your best pumpkin and decorate, design or carve at home. Bring to school to be judged on 10/31, please not before!
All pumpkins should be brought directly to the main entrance at drop off.
Please make sure the student's name and class is written on the back or bottom of the pumpkin. Please pick up the pumpkin after the Halloween Parade in the pavilion. All pumpkins not picked up by the end of day will be discarded.
The winner will be announced on October 31st. Winner will receive a gift card!
